Biography
Dann Sklarew, PhD., is a Professor of Applied Ecology and Sustainability in the College of Science. His research and service focus in part on advancing more sustainable business practices and on private sector contributions to societies’ sustainable development. As the Provost Office’s sustainability coordinator, Sklarew has championed multiple intercollegiate initiatives and academic programs to integrate sustainability into our curricula (e.g., UN Global Compact) and to expedite climate action and sustainability planning across the University. He is also instructor and coordinator for the “Business and Sustainability” (EVPP 322) course that regularly brings inspirational private sector social impact leaders into close discourse with undergraduate students.
