On-Demand Video: Acquisition Reform in the New Administration: Implications for Government Contracting

Body

Significant acquisition reform efforts are emerging on Capitol Hill and in the Executive Branch. From last night’s surprise Executive Order [April 15] on defense acquisition reform and Senator Wicker’s FORGED Act to the consolidation of procurement functions at GSA and the acknowledgement that a substantial FAR rewrite is about to be launched, a growing number of initiatives have potentially significant and far-reaching implications for the government contracting community.

The timing for an informed discussion about the ultimate goals of the Administration’s DOGE-related efforts could not be better. Government and industry should be thinking about and preparing for the potential implications of the significant emerging procurement and acquisition reform efforts across the Federal government.

We convened an all-star panel of current and former government officials and experts to discuss these issues. Hope that you can join us!
