Girls Who Invest is excited to welcome applications for our Summer Intensive and Online Intensive programs as we celebrate ten years of bringing gender diversity to the investment management industry. Learn more about us and our programs below!
Why Girls Who Invest?

What programs are available?
- Summer Intensive Program: Interactive virtual curriculum during the spring, followed by four weeks of tuition-free academic instruction from leading professors and a seven-week paid internship with one of 120+ partner investment firms. (Open to college sophomores)
- Online Intensive Program: A free, self-guided educational experience that offers the opportunity to learn from key organizations in finance education, including CFA Institute, Wall Street Prep, Project Destined, and Wharton Online. (Open to college first-years and sophomores)
Who is eligible?
- All majors are welcome - no finance experience is necessary!
- Applicants to the Summer Intensive Program must be studying at a four-year, accredited U.S. or U.S.-style college or university and expected to graduate between fall 2026 and spring 2027. For the Online Intensive Program, applicants must be graduating between fall 2026 and spring 2028.
- Students attending two-year U.S. colleges who are transferring to a four-year college or university are eligible to apply to either of GWI's programs. Please note: offers of admission are contingent upon transfer to a U.S. or U.S.-style four-year college or university for the fall 2025 term.
When is the deadline to apply?
Early Deadline: Thursday, September 5, 2024
Regular Deadline: Tuesday, October 15, 2024
