This position is a Human Resources Specialist (HRD) in the Division of Human Resources, Office of the General Manager, Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB). The Office of the General Manager provides vital mission support programs and services enabling accomplishment of the DNFSB mission. The position serves as the DNFSB Chief Learning Officer with primary responsibilities to assist the HR Director with design, development, management, and evaluation of workforce development.
Duties
As a Human Resources Specialist (Human Resources Development), you will:
- Serve as Chief Learning Officer and authoritative resource and program manager for several learning and developmental programs, responsible for creating, developing, facilitating, and evaluating customized training offerings that support the DNFSB needs.
- Develop programs for executive, managerial, and non-supervisory learning and development, emphasizing the ability to develop strategies for achieving the agency’s long-term goals.
- Design, develop, and write learning programs and curriculum for leadership and/or special technical trainings for DNFSB client organizations.
- Provide direction, development, management, and coordination of knowledge-based workforce development programs and services, career assistance, and promote continuous learning.
- Develop written programs, plans, policies, and guidelines for agency employee development matters.
- Conduct evaluations of executive, managerial, and non-supervisory leadership and professional development programs and integrate these programs with the agency’s overall strategic direction.
- Identify, develop, and adopt key performance indicators for Human Resources Development programs and services.
- Lead assigned special HR projects related to broad Division of Human Resources human capital priorities, such as knowledge management, succession programming, and workforce analysis and workforce development services.
