Job Title: Part-Time Accounting Intern

Company Description: Greenstone Realty Advisors, LLC is an entrepreneurial real estate advisory and asset management firm, known for our commitment to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Accounting Intern to join our finance team.
Job Summary: As a part-time Accounting Intern, you will assist with various accounting and financial tasks under the guidance of the CFO. The CFO is a former GMU graduate with a career in commercial real estate accounting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting and develop your skills in bookkeeping and accounting software while gaining knowledge in the specializations related to lease administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Receivables and Payables
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation.
- Participate in the month-end closing process.
- Perform data entry and maintain financial records with accuracy.
- Learn and utilize accounting software.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Work Hours & Benefits:
