The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial/operational reports and financial forecasts. This position will also support M&A integration and consolidation of divisional and subsidiary information.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide analytical support in response to wide variety of critical business issues
- Build financial models and other tools and develop graphs and charts to facilitate the interpretation of data
- Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
- Increase productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements; scaling schedules; streamlining processes and maintaining reports for user friendly features
- Coordinate with First Excel Title, First Heritage Mortgage, Stanley Martin Custom Homes and other subsidiaries to maintain schedules and models.
- Coordinates and maintains consolidation of divisional and subsidiary reports, budgets, and forecasting for financial reporting and management analysis
- Provide and maintain M&A integration support with respect to financial schedules, Stanley Martin processes, and HB1 system usage
- Update and maintain the proforma schedule and process
- Document, maintain, and streamline financial reporting related processes and policies for distribution to divisions
- Provide continued divisional analysis and support for budgets, financial' schedules, proforma's and any other financial reporting requests
- Due Diligence / Ad hoc projects
- Complete all other duties as assigned by manager
- Represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions
