We are looking for students to hire into the Pathways Intern Program within our Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Division which focuses on procuring goods and services for the federal government.
FAS 360 Summer Internship
- Dates: June 5 - August 11, 2023
- Recruiting up to 30 interns across the organization
- Targeting current college juniors for GS-4 grade level (1199 series)
- Top interns are offered additional work opportunities during the school year, with the potential to be converted to full-time employees and start the 22-month FAS 360 program in the summer of 2024
Duties
- Maintain automated databases and/or documents
- Budget and contracting duties
- Assist contract specialist with day-to-day tasks
- Consult with internal and external customers
- Provide sound business advice and project status and procurement issues to team
- Maintain deadlines
- Attend staff meetings, conferences and seminars
To meet the Intern Program Requirements, applicants MUST BE: (1) Current juniors or graduate students, (2) Will complete a bachelor's or higher degree by June 2024 (3) Are able to work full-time from Monday, June 5 through Friday, August 11, 2023 (4) Will commit to working part-time during the school year, to complete all required hours before graduating in May/June 2024 (5) A U.S. Citizen (As a federal agency, all of our employees must be U.S. Citizens.)
