Course Description:
MGMT 491-003: GovCon Entrepreneurship is an exciting new course focusing on the practical aspects of starting, growing, and ultimately exiting a government contracting business. Taught by an industry insider, and successful entrepreneur, this course will cover the unique challenges and opportunities of creating a business focused on government contracting including building a successful corporate culture, finding and keeping the right talent, handling government procurement systems, M&A in the government contracting space, and avoiding the common pitfalls that trip up many start-ups in this industry. This course will count as an elective for both the Entrepreneurship and GovCon minors. MGMT 491: GovCon Entrepreneurship will count as an elective for both the GovCon and Entrepreneurship Minors.
