Department Overview
Our B2B department is responsible for the processing and management of our auto-scored small business loans. These are commercial loans, including owner-occupied commercial mortgages, for small business and professionals. The credit scoring is a key element in the expediting of the underwriting and decisioning process while maintaining credit quality.
Internship Description:
A summer college-level internship with primary responsibilities including, but not limited to: assisting with B2B lending projects that may require data gathering, fact finding, and data analysis and reporting. Other duties may involve assisting with formulating recommendations, portfolio management services, due diligence, and other B2B transactions.
- Assist with assembling financial statements and loan documents.
- Assist with administration of the customer relationship management system.
- Assist in the due diligence and preparation of B2B underwriting requests.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program: Accounting, Economics, or an applicable field.
- Must be organized, self motivated, and a dependable team player.
- Possess excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to be self-directed and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to EagleBank offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
