EdgeConneX is looking to hire an entry-level Financial Analyst to work in our Herndon, VA headquarters. The Financial Analyst will support the day-to-day project-driven and ad hoc analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
- Develop KPIs and tracking across the company
- Automate reporting across systems
- SG&A planning and analysis. Work with departmental leaders to develop and track expenses
- Assist with cash forecasting and capital expenditure tracking and approval process
- Ad hoc and project specific analyses

- Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers
- Understanding and constructing financial models is essential to the role ( balance sheets, statement of cash flows, and income statements, etc)
Experience/Education
- 1+ years of Analyst or Staff Accounting experience at a financial accounting firm, financial institution
- Strong knowledge and background in finance and accounting as well as Excel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics a strong plus)
